HAND WASH ONLY! Your knit contains merino wool, which is known for its self-cleaning properties. Does your knit have an odor? Hanging it outside for a few hours is sufficient.
Oops, a stain after all? Then hand wash your knit in cold water with a mild wool detergent, avoid wringing, and lay it flat to dry to preserve its softness and shape.
Just steam or iron after washing and your knit is as good as new! Don't forget to "de-lint" your knit every now and then.
